It has been almost a Month and a 1/2 since I closed the shop

Flashback - this is me on the left (probably 1979 or 1980 - I'm not sure of the date) and Richard Olken of The Bicycle Exchange in Boston, MA on the right.  No laughing at my "Turtle Neck Sweater" - to say nothing of Richard's outfit, but, it was a different time.

I'm just getting the hang of not having my machines or shop, but, I'm surviving.

I pack up the tires everyday and take them to the Post Office.

My Online Store  - http://brucegordoncycles.bigcartel.com  - is still up to date and complete.

The price on the tires (as well as everything else on the Online Store) has been the same as it was 4 or 5 years - what else can you say has been the same price for 4 or 5 years.

The tires are made in Japan by Panaracer - NOT Thailand, Taiwan, or China.

Regards and Thanks for your continued response,
Bruce

  1. Love the photo of you and Richard Olken. I knew him and his dad, Ben Olken, as I worked as a financial consultant for the Bicycle Exchange (and also, later, for Ben Olken, Inc.) The Bi-Ex was a fabulous bike shop right in the heart of Harvard Square.
