with Bruce Gordon 700x43 Rock 'n Road Tires
The frame is being painted by Ed Litton. The parts are here and I can't wait.
The bike will be my sized version of the Monster Cross bike described in the May 17, 2012 post.
Pictured below: the red frame is still for sale as a frameset or a whole bike.
Check back. I hope to have pictures of the latest build soon.
My guess is seatpost--don't recognize that one as a stock item, although my knowledge of carbon posts isn't perfect. Looks like a carbon version of the Eriksen Ti post?
ReplyDeleteWrong - but you are the first guess!!

Bruce Gordon
The brake levers?
ReplyDeleteWrong - they are standard Dura Ace 10 speeds.
DeleteThe first guess of the seatpost - that is a Serotta Carbon Post.
Regards,
Bruce
That looks like a King Cage Iris cage, perhaps it is a Ti version of the Iris cage?
ReplyDeleteWrong - that is a standard Stainless King Cage Iris model.
DeleteGuess again

Bruce
The blacked out rear derailleur?
ReplyDeleteThe hollow-pinned 10spd chain?
ReplyDeleteEveryone knows its the, uh, inner ring?
ReplyDeleteI had my chance, but now I think there is only 1 possible answer remaining, so I offer my submission in the form of an anagram:
ReplyDeleteA Cab Overcrowded Drink Tint Took
The Saddle! Custom stitched Rock 'n Road on the back.
ReplyDeleteNever mind - just realized that's "Rocket V".
DeleteDura Ace rear derailleur with a long(er) cage....gets them low low gears?
ReplyDeleteWe have a WINNER - please give me a call to claim your Shirt - (707) 762-5601
